The inscription on New York’s Statue of Liberty to “give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free” is not forgotten by Redress Grievance. United States immigration policy must account for the fact we are the freest nation on Earth, and were founded as a melting pot of immigrants, who as a nation have always needed to make best side-by-side with each other. We will always welcome industrious workers and those who meaningfully contribute who come here legally, and detain and deport those who want a free ride without right.
It is just to detain and deport illegal immigrants who face an “more than 80%” likelihood their permanent residency claim will be ultimately denied, which is a recent statistic according to an August 25, 2021 article in the Wall Street Journal for asylum seekers, where a temporary asylum may grant them unrestricted access to state and federal welfare dollars, drivers licenses, and domestic charity without necessarily giving them the right to work in country. Redress Grievance also does not want these people making natural born American citizens entitled to free schooling and childhood healthcare and lifelong welfare in the United States while they await this highly likely ultimate denial and deportation anyway (leaving the kids behind).
This is a free ride without right, which is against Redress Grievance’s immigration policy. The country can’t afford this. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is the only exception.
The founders would be horrified by any arrivals who do not expect to work immediately for everything they have. Throughout Our 245 year history, Immigrants have always had to work instantly upon arrival for everything they have unless they came with it.
It is Redress Grievance’s position We need to fact check the legal status of every person collecting any form of welfare across the entire country. We have to stop illegal immigrants from making more natural born American citizens, while mom, dad or both work under the table illegally to support them. We have to check the legal status of every person enrolled in our Schools, collecting Welfare, or who has an ID or who Drives and detain and deport all of those found to be illegal mercilessly and be known for permanently excluding them from coming back if they’ve ever been found here illegally.
We need to publish this as soon as possible. This needs to be done now. There are no soft answers On Immigration in America. We have to take care of the needs of American Citizens and legal American Persons first at the Federal and State level, and not allow ourselves to drain our resources. Dollars are finite.
We have to implement that every immigrant prove in advance of a residency permit resources sufficient to cover their expenses pending a final outcome on their legal status. It was President Obama’s policy and it is suggested to President Biden and VP Harris to perpetuate it, to detain and deport every removable noncitizen from whence They came unless they have legal work arranged or these advance resources and a close personal friend or relative testifying as a direct character witness to Immigration and they are legal or able to reasonably be made legal. Pres. Trump approved of President Obama’s policy, NPR reports. Redress Grievance believes Barack Obama personally verified his illegal uncle’s character, before Obama's uncle won final lawful approval to stay in the United States after living and working here illegally for 50 years.
According to NPR, all Federal policy shifts from President to President in the 21st Century so far are really doing is shifting around where most illegal immigrants are hunted, caught and deported from. They're either discovered and removed from the interior of the country or deported when caught directly at the border. Mass deportation as the outcome has always been the same in the 21st century.
Redress Grievance does not know what the current legal environment of immigration stipulates in its totality in the United States, but for Illegals to Remain Abroad is a Good Start (which is a better name for the Remain in Mexico policy).
Respectfully yours,
